Episode 19

"Episode 19" We bring you the beer, the super-secret special (seasonal) beer. It is another from People, Space Cowboy IPA, but as it is seasonal, we felt the need to review immediately. We do find a way to reference Star Wars and Futurama. You know,to satisfy our nerd following. Adam's three words to take away (that you won't find on the beer wheel) Smokey, laser, bubbles. After, we discuss the Space and the cowboys, we seek to expand your mind with news of the beer. The fellas pay homage to a beer company they claim comes from the author's home state of Wisconsin. I swear to God I am not FROM Wisconsin; I just lived there for a few years. And to end the show, Adam hits you with his famous, "Goodnight" several times. You're welcome, dear reader.

Episode 18

"Episode 18" We again visit a beer from People and sample their brown aptly named, Mr. Brown. Adam also finds a way to work in a Johnny Depp movie reference in to the review. This may well be a beer to use your patented Adam Beer Review Wheel and play the home game. We then make a seamless segway from beer, to Star Wars, to patriotism, to news. News from the world. News that matter to you, the reader. And, to no one's surprise, we manage to also reference Batman and Star Wars... again.

Farewell to Steve

"Farewell to Steve" Alas, all terrible things must come to an end. In this episode we bid a not-so-fond farewell to the intern, Steve. He is studying abroad next semester, God knows where, and we are accepting applications for a new intern. So, if you like to work very hard for no money, but earn unaccredited college credit - have we the job for you. As is becoming our new norm, we then go on to discuss beer in the news, and beer in the buff. If you're not yet intrigued... you must've seen our photos on facebook, or twitter, or whatever instagrams you need. And for you ladies, we finally discuss a topic pertaining to you. Should you want to get both drunk and beautiful at the same time, we have the solution! The secret to beauty and blackouts lies just beyond the play button. Full disclosure: A combination of dirty sounding names and a few occasional swear words from the gents may make this episode NSFW and/or NSFK (Not safe for kids).

Episode 17

Image
"Episode 17" Although later than usual, it's still the same min-numbing entertainment you have come to expect from us here at thespeakpodcast. There's beer! We sample Triton Brewing's Fieldhouse Wheat. We make topical jokes relating to current events (Final Four). We then delve in to news surrounding beer. Adam teaches use to use Morse code and vocally connect to the internet. We double-up on sports questions and call out Three Pints Podcast. Tune in and enjoy, then like and share and insta-twitter and face-poke and all that good stuff.

Episode 16

Image
"Episode 16" In this episode we begin with a discussion of Mashcraft's, Java Deep. It is a tremendous coffee stout. Should you find yourself in Greenwood, it's certainly worth an aqusition. However, make sure to call first as their generous tap selection is ever changing. You asked for it, so you got it. The fellas are also discussing current beer related events in this epsiode. See which  (likely communist) US state seems opposed to babies drinking. But, have they gone too far?!? They have banned a  brand of beer! Listen to hear our call to action. Sign the petition by commenting now! And, as always, Adam dazzles us with both his sports knowledge. And, as an added bonus, he tries to geographize.

Early Release

"Early Release" What’s this?!?! Another episode so soon? We bring you a special thespeakpodcast Early Edition. We are calling upon you, our dear readers, to cast your vote for the Indy Star’s Malt Madness tournament. The Oaken Barrel’s Snake Pit Porter needs, neigh, deserves your help. We review Upland Brewery’s Malefactor (Gilgamesh). This is a particular classy beverage, and you will want to hear Adam’s description. Upon completion of the beer discussion, we delve in to “sports” discussion. With all the twitter conversation involving Curt Schilling, we would be remised if we didn’t get Adam’s take on the whole situation. That conversation parlays nicely in to a discussion about the Houston Rockets (special shout-outs to: Clutch, our man Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Jalen Rose, and Chris Weber) and eventually to “Malt Madness.” Honorable mention this episode goes to: Shadowboxer, Sun King, Triton, Mashcraft, Barley Island, Indiana City...

Piping With Nate

Image
"Piping With Nate" In this episode, we review a beer... a good beer in fact. A beer from Union Brewing out of Carmel, Indiana - Not Your Mama's Milk Stout. A beer revered by dead turtles everywhere. We then pipe, and pipe hard with friend of the show, Nate King. Congrats to him for his grand opening of, "The Pipe Lab." Or, "The Pipe Academy," depending upon whom you chose to listen. Hilarity is sure to ensue. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. And then share, and like and instagram, follower, twitter, and whatever else you feel compelled to do to get us that sweet, sweet syndication.
