Hoppy, Juicy, Dank

We consume three IPA's - so we titled the episode three IPA descriptors. Really can't tell you if they're appropriate or not; after the first few minutes of Adam talking about Star Wars my brain just went numb. First out of the gates is Triton's The Hempire Strykes Back . It's an approachable Hemp IPA that lead to so much Star Wars discussion. Our second Indy beer is from a brewery we haven't sampled on the show before, Mind Over Mash . We consume their Hop Lord... and then discuss Star Wars. Because, you know, Adam's mental acrobatics. Lastly we review Heretic Brewing Company 's You Can't Handle the Juice! At some point in time the taste of eyeballs was mentioned. Don't let that dissuade you however, it was actually pretty well reviewed.

Summertime at O'Banion's

Image
We decided to celebrate our 5 year recording anniversary at our most favorite speakeasy, O'Banion's. We sat down with the proprietor, John and talked beer. We also let IndyCar mechanic and pipe maker extraordinaire join in on the fun. As the weather is heating up, we cooled down with Triton Brewery 's Strawberry Golden Ale and Urban Chestnut 's Escape Tropical Ale. Tune and and hear all about what we thought!

Good Times and Goses

Celebrate National Beer Week with this banger from your buddies at thespeakpodcast! On a warm Spring day we very few beers are as refreshing Gose. We kick things off with the Indiana standard gose from, Triton Brewing , Barn Phantom. An interesting offering out of Collective Brewing in Ft. Worth, Cup O' Beer is our out-of-towner. To wrap things up, we may or may not have promised to spend a few hundred dollars obtaining a beer should this episode get 10,000 downloads.

Triton Fieldhouse And The Sour Wheat Experience

Image
This show's featured style is wheat! And we review an old favorite from Triton, the Fieldhouse Wheat . We compare it to Stillwater Artisanal's The Devil is Other People sour smoked wheat ale. I'm not sure any two wheats could be any further apart on the wheaty spectrum that is wheat beer.  Adam provides one of his most disgusting beer sounds ever, and Pete may have located the sounds of a Rhino in heat. So, if you're on safari, make sure you turn the volume down.
