Cheers to 10 Years: A Comprehensive Review

Image
If we're being honest, "Comprehensive" is a bit of a stretch. We can promise we have delivered on a solidly mediocre, but approachable "Joe Six Pack" kind of review. We ran out and purchased the 10-4 Good Buddy collaboration 4 pack. Sun King teamed up with 3 Floyds , Rhinegeist , Austin Beer Works , and Cigar City Brewing . It's been about the best $18.99 we've spent on beer in a long time. Why not grab your own 4-pack and drink along with us?

812 Farms Part Deux

As is probably apparent, we're a few beers in at this point and we decide to add a few more. We sampled Space Haze from 450 North, 3 Floyds Floy Division India Pale Ale I, and Destihl's Blueberry Gose. Be sure to visit 812 Farms at the 8th Annual GnawBrew from September the 15th through the 17th. And, then again on September the 23rd at 450 North's Corn Maze Beer Fest. They will most assuredly be events you won't forget... Or, if you're doing it right, events you'll never be able to remember. Lastly, special shout-outs this episode to the following: Indianapolis Public Library, Jeff Vibbert, and Iron Valley Barbell

With Apologies to Carson's

Image
Greetings listeners! We may have hit a new low with this episode. We start things off with Demonik from Carson's Brewing out of Evansville, Indiana. The group believes there was something wrong with the six pack we obtained from our booze shop. However, much like with our Flat 12 beer, we consumed and rated this beverage. Rest assured though, Carson's Brewing will get another sampling and review and they still do stand out as one of the group's favorite Indiana breweries. That being said, the review was not great. We then partake of Shorts Bellaire Brown Ale. Adam's description of the bottle is about what you'd expect from him, as is the review in general. Speaking of Adam, he then discusses dog years, polar bear licensing, and seeks to apply for a job at the Smithsonian. If you want to learn how polar produce Coca-Cola, and how to get a polar bear license from the BMV, be sure to listen to this episode! Also, vote for Justin Jay McIntosh for best ...

Shorty "Live from Brixx"

We bribed yet another guest to meet with us out in public. We have Hutch from The Pint Cycle  who donated precious minutes of his life that he's desperately wishes he could get back. We talk Indiana beer and wine, Adam's mom's, and Adam again discusses the ocean. In the vein of repetition, we do once again mention Scarlet Lane . Pete admits their beer he has had recently seems to have greatly improved (to his mind) and he ups his prior rating to a double solid! There is also a mention of Three Floyds and Munster, Indiana. Hutch also requested a special shout-out to The Pint Cycle's pit crew, LoKe Bicycles . The keep his cycle in tip-top shape for touring around Fishers and qualifying for the Olympics. We're looking to recruit a crew to help us pedal The Pint Cycle down the streets of Fishers to be looked upon in envy by those passing by.
