Thanksgiving Leftovers

Image
Sherpas, goats, and leftover fridge beer. Adam screws up the rating scale again and we have pointless arguments. If you didn't bicker enough at the kid's table this year for Thanksgiving, listen in to us arguing like idiots! We do (eventually) discuss some offerings from Scarlet Lane , DuClaw , and Centerpoint Brewing . Also, as is tradition, Adam gets a Holiday swear.

Gerbil Hunts and Coffee Stouts

Looking for something to get you through the rest of your Friday afternoon? Why not give our newest release a listen? We're talking about Scarlet Lane 's Dorian Espresso Stout and Central Waters Brewhouse Coffee Stout. Because we're super masculine there is also some manly hunting conversation. Learn how Adam spends his leisure hours.

A Trip to Scarlet Lane

Image
We've been taking our show on the road here lately. Our travels (back in early July) brought us to Scarlet Lane in McCordsville to share some fine fermented beverages with our friends from OHHAP . Sure our information is a little bit dated - OHHAP switched from podcasting to YouTube videos and left the network, perhaps the No Coast Cuisine transition to Trax BBQ, and maybe the Scarlet Lane 80's Halloween party already happened. But that's no reason not to listen! Be warned, there are " Lost " spoilers and Adam and Kevin talk about World of Warcraft . And have no fear fans, we do have some episodes that will be out soon where we're back home in our comfy studio. A place where Adam's flatulence flows freely and Rob berates him mercilessly.

4 Beers 4 America

Three cheers for four beers and a Happy Fourth of July to all! Keeping with the tradition of expressing our unwavering patriotism we bring you another super special edition episode sponsored by our friends at Books and Brews! We go back-to-back with two very different IPA's from Scarlet Lane Brewing . First their Vivian Red IPA and then a less traditional Bourbon Barrel Aged Braggot style IPA, Eirik Bloodaxe. To finish up we bring in two offerings from Upland Brewing . We start a little safe with their Dragonfly IPA and then knock it up a notch with Darken, a sour ale. Before you go and blow off your fingers with fireworks, make sure you click that download button!

Shorty "Live from Brixx"

We bribed yet another guest to meet with us out in public. We have Hutch from The Pint Cycle  who donated precious minutes of his life that he's desperately wishes he could get back. We talk Indiana beer and wine, Adam's mom's, and Adam again discusses the ocean. In the vein of repetition, we do once again mention Scarlet Lane . Pete admits their beer he has had recently seems to have greatly improved (to his mind) and he ups his prior rating to a double solid! There is also a mention of Three Floyds and Munster, Indiana. Hutch also requested a special shout-out to The Pint Cycle's pit crew, LoKe Bicycles . The keep his cycle in tip-top shape for touring around Fishers and qualifying for the Olympics. We're looking to recruit a crew to help us pedal The Pint Cycle down the streets of Fishers to be looked upon in envy by those passing by.

Adam Gets Nautical

Looking to ruin what would otherwise be a pretty stellar Saturday? Look no further! Adam educates us about all things Viking, pirate, and Coast Guard. We also then discuss fire hoses, ultra-mega beer conglomerates, and Clint Eastwood films. But, we start it all off with a discussion of Scarlet Lane's Eirik Bloodaxe. Important note, there apparently was an Eric Bloodaxe in real life (#themoreyouknow). *Spoiler Alert* Buy The Beer! We discuss history, rye, and 1776 an American Brown Ale made by James E Pepper. Yes, that James E Pepper. The dudes who make the whiskey. Tune in an listen. Then, like, rate, share, tumble, instatweet, and faceblog about us!
