7 Beers of Summer (4th of July Episode)

Who will be crowed the official thespeakpodcast beer of the summer 2020?!?! Tune in and find out! We celebrate the 4th of July by sampling 7 beers and ranking them in order of bestest, to least bestest. We felt we were clever by picking 7 beers 'cause July is the seventh month of the year... And that's kind of where the logic stopped. Here is our lineup on this episode: Fountain Square Brewing Company : Working Man’s Pilsner Founder’s Brewing Company : All Day IPA The Devil’s Trumpet Brewing Company : Classic Pilsner Rhinegeist Brewery : Mosiac Pale Ale Black Acre Brewing Company : Saucy Intruder IPA People’s Brewing Company : Ol’ Tavern Lemon Radler Lagunitas Brewing Company : Little Sumpin Sumpin Ale

Three cheers for four beers and a Happy Fourth of July to all! Keeping with the tradition of expressing our unwavering patriotism we bring you another super special edition episode sponsored by our friends at Books and Brews! We go back-to-back with two very different IPA's from Scarlet Lane Brewing . First their Vivian Red IPA and then a less traditional Bourbon Barrel Aged Braggot style IPA, Eirik Bloodaxe. To finish up we bring in two offerings from Upland Brewing . We start a little safe with their Dragonfly IPA and then knock it up a notch with Darken, a sour ale. You know what makes America great? Adam can say whatever he wants on the internet without fear of repercussion... unless it's being able to do things like find a job, be allowed near playgrounds, or look his mother(s) in the eye ever again. Celebrate the 4th of July with us as we talk about Porter's, celebrate the film career of Arnold Schwarzenegger (or at least one of his films), and inspire the US to take it's Zamboni fatality record back from Canada. To kick things off we have Burn 'Em Brewing's Duke Silver Jazzy Porter. A beer that was well received by the group, but Adam manages to embarrass the show in record time while describing the can. The 7 malted beer makes for a refreshing, full-bodied beverage for a warm 4th of July. We then move out of state and sample an offering from Evil Twin Brewing and partake of their Imperial Donut Bank. Here's to the memory Of the man That raised the corn That fed the goose That bore the quill That made the ...

Happy Super-Awesome America Fourth of July Day

Happy Super-Awesome America Fourth of July Day We begin by thanking our (now official) sponsor, Deviate Brewing. And an extra special thanks to Zane Lamprey of Three Sheets, Chug, Drinking Made Easy, and Monkey Rum for the endorsement at the beginning. Feels good to literally not be the worst show in Indy. We stick to our normal Indiana beer and review, Bier Brewing Chinookalicious American Style IPA. Things then start to go off the rails a bit as we delve in to: Old Forge Tennessee Moonshine... 5 jars of it in fact. We then talk about news articles, drinking happens, equipment gets messed up, drinking happens, then an America grand finale you don't want to miss.
