Episode 16

Image
"Episode 16" In this episode we begin with a discussion of Mashcraft's, Java Deep. It is a tremendous coffee stout. Should you find yourself in Greenwood, it's certainly worth an aqusition. However, make sure to call first as their generous tap selection is ever changing. You asked for it, so you got it. The fellas are also discussing current beer related events in this epsiode. See which  (likely communist) US state seems opposed to babies drinking. But, have they gone too far?!? They have banned a  brand of beer! Listen to hear our call to action. Sign the petition by commenting now! And, as always, Adam dazzles us with both his sports knowledge. And, as an added bonus, he tries to geographize.

Early Release

"Early Release" What’s this?!?! Another episode so soon? We bring you a special thespeakpodcast Early Edition. We are calling upon you, our dear readers, to cast your vote for the Indy Star’s Malt Madness tournament. The Oaken Barrel’s Snake Pit Porter needs, neigh, deserves your help. We review Upland Brewery’s Malefactor (Gilgamesh). This is a particular classy beverage, and you will want to hear Adam’s description. Upon completion of the beer discussion, we delve in to “sports” discussion. With all the twitter conversation involving Curt Schilling, we would be remised if we didn’t get Adam’s take on the whole situation. That conversation parlays nicely in to a discussion about the Houston Rockets (special shout-outs to: Clutch, our man Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Jalen Rose, and Chris Weber) and eventually to “Malt Madness.” Honorable mention this episode goes to: Shadowboxer, Sun King, Triton, Mashcraft, Barley Island, Indiana City...

Piping With Nate

"Piping With Nate" In this episode, we review a beer... a good beer in fact. A beer from Union Brewing out of Carmel, Indiana - Not Your Mama's Milk Stout. A beer revered by dead turtles everywhere. We then pipe, and pipe hard with friend of the show, Nate King. Congrats to him for his grand opening of, "The Pipe Lab." Or, "The Pipe Academy," depending upon whom you chose to listen. Hilarity is sure to ensue. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. And then share, and like and instagram, follower, twitter, and whatever else you feel compelled to do to get us that sweet, sweet syndication.
